🌿 The First Step Together
It started with a simple idea: that nature is best enjoyed in good company.
This morning, the air was crisp as our new group met at the corner of Northumberland and Dundas streets. There a few of us—a mix of old friends and new faces—plus some four legged friends.
As we stepped onto the wooded path, the city sounds faded, replaced by the rhythmic crunch of gravel and the gentle rush of the stream running alongside us. We didn’t just walk; we talked. We shared stories of past hikes, local history, and our favourite nearby coffee spots.
Watching the sunlight filter through the canopy while the dogs ran on the path, it became clear that this wasn’t just about the miles. It was about “breathing it in” and finding a new pace for the week.
We’re officially a group now, and the path is wide enough for everyone.
- Pace: Gentle and social—we go at the pace of the slowest walker
- Dogs:Â Well-behaved four-legged friends are always welcome!
The group is organised by residents and neighbours. For enquiries – Please use Contact Us and we will pass on your contact details.
