FOOTWAY RECONSTRUCTION WORKS – DUNDAS STREET (between Great Kings Street and Henderson Row)
I am writing to advise that footway reconstruction works are due to commence on or around 4 September 2023, the works will have an approximate duration of fifteen weeks. Please note that the contractor will be setting up welfare and equipment from 28 August 2023 in advance of this start date.
All works will be carried out between the hours of 0700 to 1900 Monday to Friday and will be broken into phases which are summarised below. Please note, this may be subject to change during the construction period. Should there be any significant changes, I will ensure you are kept up to date. Martin Watson.

As the NTBCC post mentioned the last Phase 5 should refer to the WEST footway.

**UPDATE – 27th November 2023**
On Wednesday 29th November the CEC dropped an update letter through residents doors advising of a change to the schedule of works for the footway resurfacing. The main paragraphs of the letter are noted below.
“Phase 5 will now be broken into two parts with the section between Fettes Row and No.120 being completed before 21 December. The remaining section of footway, between No.120 and Henderson Row, will be completed early in the new year.
The Contractor will return on 8 January 2024for approximately 3-4 weeks to complete the remaining. As before, the works will be carried out between the hours of 07:00 to 19:00 Monday to Friday. Please note, this may be subject to change during the construction period. Should there be any significant, I will ensure you are kept up to date.
